If there’s anything worse than being an outsider in gym class, its being one at the beginning of the apocalypse. Erica struggles to make friends on a good day, so students chewing chunks of other students certainly isn’t making it any easier.
Being trapped in a small shed with four popular girls who keep forgetting she exists, is as lonely and demoralising as it gets. But as the chilling realisation sets in that something unreversible is happening outside, Erica realises she’ll need to conquer bigger problems than social anxiety if she wants to survive.
